Chapter 1
Hi there! I'm Patricia👋
I spend a lot of time studying app flows, visuals, and why some designs just feel… better.
Well, it didn't start this way. My design journey began in my final year as a Mass Comm student, because some of my courses required I and my group members, or sometimes just me, to make graphics. Well since then, I kinda figured out that I liked designing, and I wasn't very surprised because I've always loved drawing and art as a kid.
So, since then, I immersed myself in the field, learnt one or two, didn't take it super serious during that time because, (I'm not making an excuse😂), I did have to focus on my undergrad project. So yeah I didn't have much time.

Well, in 2023, I decided to get more serious with my life, and I had a friend who pushed me to learn this skill cause he saw how good I was as a beginner.
I'm about 4 years into design now, and I can say that I have seen growth in skill; I now make better decisions when building for users. Sometimes, I’ll spend hours on a single screen, not because I’m stuck, but because I’m researching, testing, asking questions, and even handing my phone to friends just to see how they use it. Over time, this habit has helped me improve user flows, simplify complex ideas, and design amazingggg products.
Outside design, I’m also a fashion model (yeah… probably obvious by now 😂). I love staying fit; running, working out, practicing kung fu, and spending as much time as I can in nature.
